Our services are important because some older adults will not make the progress that they are capable of, or respond to treatment as their doctor would have expected if they are unwilling or unable to make the necessary adjustments related to aging and their medical condition
In addition to depression we know that nursing home residents as well as older adults regardless of where they live can display problems like:
- aggressiveness or striking out
- refusal to cooperate with nursing care
- resisting showers, medications, or physical therapy
- refusal to cooperate with treatment plan.
